Drones are taking the video production world by storm, but to fly them like a pro, there’s more to it than just pressing a button. At Indelible, we’re Part 102 certified with two amazing qualified UAV pilots in house, and we take drone operations seriously. We have a fleet of drones that can do all sorts of amazing things, safely and with style.
We’re Hawke’s Bay based but we fly our drones all over the country.
A drone’s a drone, right? Wrong.
We have 4 different drone workhorses in our toolkit all great at different things. We have the newest kid on the block, the DJI Inspire 3 – this drone is a two operator drone allowing the pilot to concentrate on flying the drone safely and accurately, while the camera operator focuses on nailing the shot. This one is great for those cinematic helicopter style shots. We have 4 removable lenses for this drone allowing us an even greater flexibility. Then there is our Mavic Pro 2, this drone is great when the size of the Inspire isn’t so practical (ie when flying in close proximity to people or with indoor spaces. This drone is a single operator machine and nice and small with long battery life so great for small crews trudging through remote locations. Then we have a couple of FPV drones for thrilling unique perspectives.
We can offer you a wide variety of services, including aerial filming, photography, 360 aerial content and photogrammetry (which we often use for projection mapping jobs and VFX work but it’s great for a wide variety of things). Whether you want to create impressive marketing materials or simply capture a bird’s eye view of your land, our team of certified drone pilots is here to help you take your vision to new heights.
Our pilots are certified under Part 102 rules and regulations by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), allowing us to fly higher, longer, and stronger than those under Part 101. Only granted to organisations with top-notch systems and procedures in place, our 111-page manual outlines everything we need to keep your experience safe and sound. So what does this certificate really mean? It means we can fly over private property without permission, capture stunning footage at night, soar over crowds, go higher than 400 feet, and fly further with extended visual line-of-sight processes and procedures. And having 2 qualified pilots in-house used to our system and way of working, we have redundancies as well as ground crew and cinematographers available when needed. So sit back, relax, and let our certified drone pilots take the wheel. Or rather, the remote control!
We take the safety of every drone operation seriously, whether the job is big or small. We understand that seeing a drone overhead can create concerns, but rest assured that our SOPs, logging and maintenance schedule makes sure we take every practical step to ensure the safety of people, property, and other aircraft. Our team is committed to providing a fun and secure filming experience for everyone. If you want to know more about our services, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We’re keen to meet you, hear your story and help you make your mark.
